Breakbeats, Dub & Dubstep Music – Entertainment Complex

Home > Music > Beaver Street & Beyond > Entertainment Complex

Download Entertainment Complex on iTunes because you can’t just listen to it once!

Sounds Like: DJ Shadow, John Zorn, Groove Armada, Skream

A 2 part track with crazy fast breakbeats music with edited drums ala DJ Shadow and a John Zorn inspired sax solo. The tune then moves into a Groove Armada inspired dubstep / dub outro.

This track is an example of my entertainment complex where I sometimes try to do too much at once! The idea is that you can listen to the track again and again and always find something new that you missed last time you heard it. The sax solos in the first half are comprised of one normal forwards version and the same solo played backwards simultaneously. The guitar parts towards the end are inspired by Robert Fripp’s playing in king Crimson.

This track is so intense. Just when you’ve think you’ve had enough it almost collapses and fades into this spacey, trippy dub groove. The sax solo at the start is mad.
